Anne Desmet – Urban Evolution:

Anne Desmet was invited by the Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester, UK, to show new work that stemmed from the idea of ‘Urban Evolution’. The exhibition, held in 2008, was seen by over 33,000 visitors and generated much media interest. It toured other museums and galleries throughout the UK until 2010. A special feature was a suite of works based on the impressive Victoria Baths in Manchester, winner of the BBC TV’s first Restoration series. See: Whitworth Manchester and Victoria Baths.
